Rumours of an update to BMW’s S1000RR superbike continue to swirl, with Dutch moto-mag Oliepiel posting a photo of a rendering of the revamped motorcycle.
A few spy shots have been floating around the Internet for a while as well (Asphalt and Rubber had one here). The spy pix indicate new bodywork is coming; however, as you can see from the photo overhead, the swingarm seems to be the same, and much of the bodywork is unchanged, or very similar to the previous model.
The radiator might be a bit changed; it’s hard to know, from the photo. The front brake discs could also be a bit different; however, those could simply be liberties taken by the model creator.
As we’ve been telling you lately, the Intermot, EICMA and AIME shows are around the corner, and we’ll likely see the end result of these spy shots then.
