EagleRider adds new models from Indian

Earlier in 2014, EagleRider announced they’d be offering Indian motorcycles for rental; now, they’ve added the company’s latest models to their lineup.

Indian came to market with the Chief Classic, Chief Vintage and Chieftan in 2013; this summer, they added the bagged-up Roadmaster and stripped-down Scout. Now, EagleRider has said they will offer those models for rental as well.

The Indians might not be available at all EagleRider locations; not every machine EagleRider rents now is available at each rental counter. The company also rents Harley-Davidson, Honda, BMW and Triumph motorcycles. They bill themselves as “the world’s largest motorcycle travel company,” offering not only rentals, but guided and self-guided tours and more. Check ’em out here.

A deal like this has got to be a major coup for Indian. Victory has been around for years, but Polaris’s other cruiser brand has only been a minor player in the American cruiser market, at least when compared to Harley-Davidson. Indian’s marketeers seem to be making an impact much more quickly than Victory has.
