After last weekend’s CMDRA event in Napierville, QC, Chris Fox has a strong lead in the eastern Screamin’ Eagle V-Rod Destroyer series.
The event had the best racer turnout yet for the V-Rod class this season, with teams showing up all the way from Alberta and the Northwest Territories. The boys from Owen Sound were the winners, though, with Fox Harley-Davidson’s Chris Fox running the weekend’s fastest ET (9.166 seconds). He should have faced Ray Philp, another rider from Fox Harley-Davidson, in the final, but Philp had mechanical issues and Fox took the win.
That gives him a 123-point lead going into this weekend’s event at Toronto Motorsports Park, which is the last race of the Screamin’ Eagle V-Rod Destroyer Eastern Series. For more details, visit CMDRA.com.
