Honda Canada has confirmed they will be bringing the CB300F naked bike to this country.
As we told you this morning, the CB300F is really just a CBR300 that’s lost a bit of plastic and gained a nice upright handlebar. It’s pretty much the same thing that Honda did with the CBR500 and CB500F.
The Canadian version is technically known as the CB300FA, since it comes with ABS as standard. And, while we told you this morning we thought the bike was coming in red, it seems the version we Canadians get will be all white.
Honda says the MSRP is to be determined, and they did not give an arrival date for the new naked bike; it’s coming in as a 2015 model, so you might see an early import or two this fall, but since we haven’t seen a CBR300 yet due to production delays, we are guessing we might not see a CB300F until next spring (presumably, there will be some on the show circuit).
See the official specs for the new bike below.

Andrew … A CRF for sure. A likely candidate for replacing my DR650 someday? I’ll take one of each please.
It would certainly make sense that a dual sport 300 upgrade would come down the pipe but likely not for another year.
I would prefer a CRF300L instead
[…] We just got confirmation from Honda Canada that the CBR300R will be in dealerships in late summer and the recently announced naked 300F version about 4 to 6 weeks after that. More info on the bikes can be found here. […]
Just sold my SRX and this or a 500 would be el perfecto!
