Yuasa has brought out a new line of batteries the company claims will offer improved reliability and performance.
The GYZ battery lineup has 500 cold cranking amps, and is rated at 32 amp-hours. Yuasa says that makes it the industry’s most powerful motorcycle battery, with longer shelf life and more power than existing advanced glass mat batteries of similar size.
According to Yuasa, they use an “enhanced active material” and brass nuts instead of stainless steel for greater conductivity. They’ll be available in six sizes for different motorcycle and other powersports application. They’re made in Pennsylvania.
No pricing has been announced for the GYZ lineup yet.
