Do you live in Ontario, or could you ride there in a hurry? Do you like adventure motorcycles, or do you long to chuck your day job and ride around the world? Do you spend hours at work clicking through pictures of the Dakar rally, when you should be filing your TPS reports?

If you answered yes, yes and yes, then you should head to Lawrence Hacking’s Overland Adventure Rally at the Mohawk Inn in Campbellville, Ontario. Presenters include Hacking himself, along with another Canadian Dakar vet, Patrick Beaule. Dual sport guru Warren Milner, Dakar racer and riding coach Simon Pavey and adventure riding guide Rene Cormier will also all be there, and that guy from that show (Johnny Harris, from Murdoch Mysteries).

Activities include a couple hundred klicks of riding around the roads of the Niagara Escarpment, an industry expo, informative seminars, a vintage motocross bike exhibition, barbecue dinners, and camping. You can find more details at their website here.

The fun starts on Friday at 9 a.m. with riding instruction from Simon Pavey and runs until Sunday, ending with breakfast. It’s also the goodbye for Les and Catharine from Dual Sport Plus, so if you want to give them a send-off on their round-the-world travels, show up to say goodbye to them, too.

You can find a full schedule of events here.
