BMW has announced updates to their 2015 lineup; the lower-end bikes get cosmetic changes, and the more expensive bikes see minor upgrades and new options available.
The K1300 S is now available in a Motorsport edition, with BMW racing paint, a tinted windshield, HP wheels and footpegs, and Akrapovic muffler. It’s supposed to go on sale Aug. 1 in the EU for 19,950 Euros. We don’t know Canadian availability or cost.
The R1200 GS also sees some minor upgrades; the crankshaft has been revised to the same unit found in the Adventure and R1200 RT models, to increase gyrating mass, which is supposed to increase smoothness. There are several new options available for the base model GS, including shift assist, keyless ignition, and new paint choices.
The R1200 GS Adventure also gets new options; along with shift assist, keyless ignition and paint, riders can also get lowered seats and suspension. The R1200 RT also has optional keyless start, and new paint.
The K1600 GT and GTL models now have Dynamic Traction Control as standard. New options include, paint, keyless ignition, Hill Start Control, and daytime running lights.
The C Evolution scooter now has an optional seat, for added comfort. Other models (F700 GS, F800 GS F900 GS Adventure, F800 GT) get updated paint as well.
