This weekend: CSBK visits St-Eustache

The Canadian Superbike championship heads to St-Eustache this weekend, for Round 2. Practice starts tomorrow, and we’re looking at the usual suspects in contention for the crown.

Jordan Szoke is still the man to beat on his BMW S1000RR, with Jodi Christie unable to consistently outrace him on the Honda CBR1000RR. Trevor Daley (Suzuki GSX-R1000) and Frank Trombino (Aprilia RSV4) will also likely provide pressure in the Pro Superbike chase.

Christie will also be working hard in the Pro Supersport series, as he’s sitting in second overall, instead of his usual top spot (he’s won the last four championships on a CBR600). Last time around, Kenny Reidmann beat him for first aboard a Triumph 675, so Christie will have his work set out to get back atop the heap.

Practice starts Friday, and qualifying starts Saturday. Call 450-472-6222 or 514-591-4388, or visit www.autodrome.ca for for more details and ticket information.
