It’s Canada Day tomorrow, and if you fancy a taste of frozen yogurt to cool off, we suggest you get your ice cream urge taken care of at a Kiwi Kraze stand. That way, you can help support the ISDE team while you are there.
Three of Kiwi Kraze’s locations are running fundraisers for Canada’s team headed to the International Six Day Enduro; 2013 ISDE bronze medalist Felicia Robichaud will be at the Ottawa Train Yards location, Trophy Team rider Nathan Bles will be at the London-Highbury location, and there will also be a fundraising effort at their North London stand.
There will be different prizes available at the fundraisers, including free yogurt, gift certificates and T-shirts. You can find more details at their Facebook page here. Fifty cents from each sale during the fundraiser will go to the ISDE team.
This year’s ISDE team from Canada has 15 riders, from five different provinces. In 2013, the co-ed team won three gold medals, three silver medals and three bronze medals in Italy.
