Here’s another traveler’s take on South America by motorcycle. Filmmaker Miguel Silvestre is putting together a 13-chapter documentary for Spanish-language television, and this is some sample footage.
You can see more of the video here, but the teaser clip is a fun sampler of what you can expect if you ride around South America on a BMW R 1200 GS- it looks like a lot of fun, especially if you take the time to do side trips through ancient ruins, or go for a rip across the Bolivian salt flats.
