Kahuna is closing

Toronto-area motorcycle dealer Kahuna Powersports is closing, according to their advertising.

The dealership on Islington Ave. in Vaughan has announced a “Going Out Of Business Sale,” starting yesterday – they sent out an email with a flyer (in the gallery below) carrying the announcement. They carried Honda, Indian and Kawasaki motorcycles, but now their flyer states that all new and used bikes and ATVs must go. There are no other details on markdowns beside that. We did call their sales and administration departments, but were unable to get any more information.

Kahuna has been around since 2003, opening on the corner of Steeles Ave. and Weston Rd. They’d only moved to the Islington Ave. location in February after acquiring Ride Motorcycles.

  1. Are they actually shutting down or just killing one of the business entities? Sounds like they’re just killing overstock from when they combined. I’d hate to see another mc dealer go down the tubes.
