Remember yesterday when we told you Harley-Davidson was building a battery bike? Here’s more proof.
This afternoon, Harley-Davidson posted a video to YouTube showing a mysteriously blurred motorcycle rushing down a deserted road. Unlike just about any other Harley-Davidson advertising we’ve ever seen, there’s no V-twin rumble. Instead, there’s silence. Or, almost silence.
The video has the distinctive whine of an electric motor, sounding identical to the motor we heard in the video clips yesterday. So, either the MoCo has gone to great lengths to conceal the sound of a new internal combustion engine, or they’re going to battery power. The video description tells us something is coming on June 19 (tomorrow), so whatever it is, we’ll know then.
[…] Like we told you yesterday, Harley-Davidson has confirmed they are working on an electric motorcycle, called the LiveWire. […]
They’ll still find a way for it to leak oil..
That’s a great looking bike. I also would buy one with an 883 bolted into the frame. The ergonomics look excellent at first blush.
