MV Agusta has revealed the latest version of their F3 800, the AGO.
This bike may be made in small volume (only 300 units), but you can bet it’s going to command a big price. It’s got the same 800 cc triple as other F3 800s, along with the sophisticated MVICS electronics systems (Bosch ABS with rear wheel lift management, eight-level traction control, and so on). It also has some extra-trick aluminum and carbon-fibre bits, and those forged aluminum wheels offer some weight savings over the original F3, although it’s not as if that machine was portly either.
The tricolour paint job is also exclusive to this bike, and all 300 machines will have their tanks signed by Giagcomo Agostini, one of their most famous factory racers of all time (naturally, they named the machine after him).
Update: MV Agusta’s Tim Massarelli had this to say about their plans to bring this bike to Canada:
“There were 2 that were pre ordered, those are the only 2 that we will bring in and they will be here end of June. Since it is now announced officially, we will try to fulfill customer demands should there be any via our reservation web site or at our dealers..
“MSRP is $28,995.00 CAD, which is a steal considering that they are asking 24,000 Euros in Italy.”
