If you feel like ditching your pillion and adding more luggage, Twisted Throttle has a new set of SW-Motech racks that might do the trick.
The Seat-Rack is made from 4 mm black powder-coated aluminum, and fits in the slot where the pillion seat normally sits. You remove the pillion pad to mount the Seat-Rack, making it easier to centralize your touring bike’s mass. The rack has several slots cut into it to make it easier to attach bungees and other straps.
For now, the Seat-Rack is only available for the BMW R1200GS LC, KTM 690 Duke 4, and KTM 1190 Adventure, but they’re working on other applications. The Seat-Rack will be available at TwistedThrottle.com.
