Most riders who own a smartphone want to take it with them on their bike. After all, how else are you going to call for help when you run out of gas? Plus, with Bluetooth-integrated helmets and comm systems, you can really stay in touch while on the road, if you want that sort of thing.
Trouble is, you don’t want to smash your phone while you’re packing it, especially if you’re riding off-road. Hitcase says they’ve got the solution for your problems, and now their iPhone cases are available in Canada through Motovan.
They’re selling the new Hitcase Pro/5 this year, a shockproof, waterproof case that should not only give you some peace of mind about your phone, but also let you use it as a camera or video recorder – the case is designed with that usage in mind. There are mounts available that can attach your Hitcase to your helmet, using it as an action cam. It’s even waterproof to 10 metres, in case you ride off a bridge.
Want a Hitcase? Motovan’s selling cases for iPhone 5, 5s, 4, and 4s; MSRP is $129.99. Find out more details here. CMG also has one to test so keep your eyes here for our thoughts later in the year.
