Government documents: They’re a pain in the butt to deal with, but sometimes they can be full of useful information. Like, say, the information that a couple of interesting bikes seem to be en route from Yamaha and Honda.
According to just about everybody on the Internet, Yamaha has applied for a US trademark for a motorcycle named the FJ-09. Hrm. Sounds like a sport-touring version of the FZ-09 naked bike might be en route? It makes sense to build a few bikes around that tasty three-cylinder motor, after all …
But wait, there’s more! Apparently, Honda is trying to get the naming rights for a bike called the CB300F in the EU. Sounds like a naked bike built around the CBR300 platform! We doubt that bike will make it here anytime soon, especially since the CBR300 itself isn’t likely this year, but naked bike fans can still hope.
