Ducati unveils updated Diavel

Ducati has updated their Diavel muscle cruiser, with a revised motor, gauges, paint schemes, headlight, bodywork and more.

The Diavel will still run a Testastratta motor, but the engineers in Bologna have been busy messing around with it. The updated motor makes 96.2 ft-lb of torque (up 2.2 ft-lb), and makes peak 162 hp at 9,250 rpm, instead of 9,500 rpm. Changes to the cam timing, intake and exhaust ports, fuel injection, higher-compression pistons and revised exhaust system made this possible.

But wait, there’s more! The Diavel now sports a restyled LED headlamp and signals. The rad covers are new, the gauges have been revised, and there are new bar risers as well. The seat has also been re-designed; it’s a bit longer now.

The 2015 Diavel will be available in two models; there’s the Diavel Dark ($19,995), and the Diavel Carbon (available in two different colours – $21,995 CAD for the Red or White version). The Dark is a blacked-out version, the Carbon Red has a red frame and the Carbon White has a white frame – see the differences below.
