Bennets and Motorcycle News are both claiming Michael Dunlop has signed up with BMW, and will race a S1000 HP4 at the 2014 Isle of Man TT.

Dunlop carried on his family’s tradition of dominating at the Isle of Man, winning four races at the 2013 event. However, things fell apart between him and Honda afterwards, and he left the team. He’s supposed to be racing under his own team banner this year, instead of the BMW factory team.

The 24-year-old rider broke lap and race records in 2013, taking wins in the Superstock, Supersport and Superbike categories. He finished second to John McGuinness  in the senior TT.
