AIMExpo announces schedule change

AIMExpo organizers say the event will run for only four days in 2014.

AIMExpo is a new motorcycle show in Florida, which premiered last October. It seems to be sort of a made-in-the-USA answer to EICMA; it has an industry-only segment (similar to the long-running DealerExpo, which moves from Indianapolis to Chicago this year), but it’s also open to the public, like most bike shows.  In its first year, AIMExpo ran for five days, but that’s changed for 2014.

In 2014, AIMExpo will run Oct. 16-19 in Orlando, Florida. The industry-only days will be Oct. 16-17, so if you’re a dealer who wants to do some business, that’s when you want to show up. The rest of the hoi polloi can take in the show on the 18th and 19th.

AIMExpo says they’ve already received plenty of feedback on the 2013 show, which they’re heeding to implement change. The show featured 392 exhibitors last year, and already has more than 200 signed up for 2014.
