Video: Nitro Circus crash

Stuntman Bruce Cook from Kelowna, BC, wanted to make a big impression at the Nitro Circus event in Hamilton on Friday (the first in their North American tour). So, he decided to pull off a double front flip. That would have been a world first, as far as we know, if he’d pulled it off. Unfortunately, as you can see from the video below, it didn’t go so well.

Thankfully, reports are that Cook is doing well, and headed home to BC in a few days. He’s currently recovering in hospital in Ontario after three hours of back surgery. You can drop some good vibes on his Facebook page here.

  1. I was at that show. Those guys are pretty extreme. In the video you see a bunch of guys on the right on the other landing ramp…they are all the other performers getting a good look and providing support. Three minutes after the crash the show “had to go on” if you will. Ten minutes after the crash Bruce was taken away.
