French manufacturer Voxan has built a new electric motorcycle they claim is the most powerful battery bike ever built.
Voxan unveiled the new machine at the Paris Motorcycle Show. It’s called the Wattman. That sounds like the name of a stereo, but this machine won’t make a racket when you fire it up. Instead, you’ll have to let its claimed 200 hp and 200 Nm of torque do the talking …
Other impressive specs include a claimed charge time of 30 mins (to get to 80 per cent capacity). A full charge is supposed to give you a 180-km range, thanks to its 12.8 kWh battery.
You can’t just waltz down to your local dealership and buy one of these, even if you did have a Voxan dealer around the corner. The company is making them on demand, one-by-one, at their French factory. We’re just guessing, but we bet they aren’t cheap either. If you have to ask how much one is, you probably can’t afford it.
Despite the interesting specs, the slab side sure as heck makes it look fat.
