US parts retailer Twisted Throttle has purchased their Canadian partner, A Vicious Cycle.
A Vicious Cycle is best known for their wide selection of aftermarket upgrades for adventure bikes, although they also sell tires and other odds and ends like camping gear and protective equipment. The Ontario-based company had been a dealer for Twisted Throttle’s products for several years.
“Joining forces with Twisted Throttle simply made sense, we have had a long and successful relationship as a Twisted Throttle dealer,” says Eric Stephens, CEO of A Vicious Cycle. “This arrangement will allow us to build new relationships as well as deepen those that already exist.”
Stephens and A Vicious Cycle’s other staff will remain on board. Their press release says “the transition will not disrupt dealers or consumers, and … the transition will take place gradually over the next 12 months. Until operational processes are merged there will be no change in order processing or fulfillment.”
