Apparently, Jordan Szoke is continuing to expand his set of two-wheeled skills.

Szoke’s best-known as a superbike racer (he won the CSBK championship again in 2013), but he’s also a high-level competitor in mountain bike racing and trials riding. Now, he’s given off-road enduro riding a go, and seems to be pretty good at that as well.

Szoke rode the Corduroy Enduro in late September, in Ontario’s Haliburton highlands. Although it was his first enduro event, he proved up to the task, finishing a respectable fourth, only 16 seconds off the podium.

Will he try his hand at more enduro racing? Szoke said “I really love the format and the level of competition. Pending support levels this may be something else I’d like to pursue.” He ran this event as a favour to Sherco, his trials sponsor, so maybe if they want to support him in enduro racing, we’ll see him there too.
