The Dawn to Dusk rally has come and gone for another year.
CMG’s quarter-litre classic ran on Saturday, with a wide variety of bikes showing up, from cruisers to sportbikes to dual sports. A handful of riders also attended on bigger machines in order to cram in a bonus loop; the small-displacement machines did about 640 kms (and some of them also rode considerable distance to attend the event), and the bigger bikes did over 700 kms. Riders showed up from Ontario, PEI, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
The route was longer than it was the first couple years, and this year, the event ran later than it ever has, which offered up a set of other challenges as well. We’ll have the complete write-up on this year’s rally later this week, which will hopefully inspire you to buy your own 250 and make the trip to participate next year …
Need my own 250 , now 50 cc short.
WELL, I have done it on a 200 cc for the last three years running …
Thanks Zac , I thought it was reserved for 250`s only , need to catch it next year 😉
Ultimately we would love to spread it across the country but we’d need a sponsor to make that feasible. We think we’ve got a pretty good format down but it does take a chunk of time to organize.
Do you plan on having this rally in western Canada as well?
