Like movies? Like motorcycles? Like road trips? Then you’re in luck.
On Sept. 26-28, the first Motorcycle Film Festival kicks off in Brooklyn. They’re screening documentaries, short films, and a couple of feature-length “narrative” films as well, including recently-released The Best Bar in America, and Girl Meets Bike.
Many of the short films and documentaries seem to focus on DIY speed and custom bike building. Check out the whole lineup here. They don’t seem to have any retro bikesploitation stuff on the agenda, so if you want to see The Black 6, you’d better start digging through the dollar bin at Wal-Mart.
For more details (tickets, screen times, etc.), visit their web site here.
thanks for the plug for our first ever Motorcycle Film Festival. Make it up to NY a day early, and we have a pre party at my other project, Cine Meccanica which screens all those old ‘classic’ bike flicks every single wednesday for FREE!! http://www.cinemeccanica.wordpress.com
Looks fun! If I’m ever in town at the time, I’d love to drop in.
Of course it is normal ethics to link back to the site where you found the info in the first place. It’s called “source” or “via”.
Hey Mike,
Note today’s piece on the Bimota sale – we have no problem citing information’s source. We got the information here from the festival’s website.
