According to MotorcycleDaily, Bimota has changed hands again.

Their story says the manufacturer of exotic high-performance motorcycles has been sold to a Swiss businessman. They’re still supposed to be bringing new bikes to market; remember, they showed some pretty trick stuff at EICMA last year.

But, all that potential supposedly hasn’t stopped Italian owner Robert Comini from selling off the company. It’s not the first time the company has been sold, of course; the firm actually went out of business in the late ’90s after their V Due motorcycle was introduced to market with serious flaws. The current incarnation of the company has been around since 2003, when a group of investors bought the rights to the name.
