Want a mini-Panigale? There have been rumours that Ducati was working on such a bike for months now, and by the look of spy shots published in an Italian mag, the rumours are true.
The photos, published in Motociclismo, seem to show a scaled-down version of Ducati’s frameless Panigale, with no trellis frame. Instead, the bike is supposed to be built around the motor, same as the 1199.
The Panigale’s Ohlins suspension, front and rear, looks to be replaced in the scaled-down version. Supposedly those are Showa Big Piston forks in front and a Sachs swingarm in back.
Ducati hasn’t said anything official about the bike yet; we’re guessing it will be unveiled at EICMA, where we’ll get official horsepower numbers, as well as MSRP and arrival date.
“Want a mini-Panigale?”
Yes. How about a 399 or 499?
Ducati really should make another SuperMono
Uh, you did notice it has a dual sided swingarm, right?
