Stacey Nesbitt will race a 600 cc motorcycle in this weekend’s CSBK round at St-Eustache. And, she is bringing a friend.
Nesbitt, last year’s CBR250 series champ, was racing a RS250 Honda at R.A.C.E. and a 125 at V.R.R.A events, but now she will be running in the AM600 class, thanks to help from Forensi-Tech Racing.
As for her friend – remember when Stacey ran in the Asia Dream Cup event in Qatar last fall? While she was there, she met the series winner, Hikari Okubo. They’ve kept in touch since; he was supposed to come to Montreal for a short visit this summer, but that vacation has turned into a race weekend.
Okubu will be racing a CBR250 in the Honda-based spec series on the weekend.
Kid’s going to love St-Moustache after racing at other local tracks like Losail, Sepang, Suzuka …

“While she was there, she met the series winner, Hikari Okubu.”
I think you’ll find his name is Okubo.
Thanks. As someone whose name is constantly misspelled, I should know better. Typo corrected …
