Suzuki to unveil bikes at AIMExpo

W're just guessing, but we bet the new Suzukis will be from the B.O.S.S. lineup.

For years, the Intermot and EICMA shows have been the location where manufacturers unveil most of the next season’s new motorcycles; rarely is anything new unveiled at the North American shows.

But, that may be changing. Suzuki has announced they’re going to participate at this year’s AIMExpo show in Orlando, Florida, Oct. 16-20. Not only are they going to have demo rides and host their dealer meeting, a press release also says they will “introduce new 2014 motorcycles and ATVs.”

For years, motorcycle keeners in North America have lamented that they can’t afford to go to the Italian or German shows and fawn over the brand-new exotica. Now, depending on how things go with the AIME show, they might not have to.

Meanwhile, this is likely bad news for many of the other North American motorcycle shows. With AIME aimed at both consumers and industry insiders, and offering a Florida setting instead of a frigid mid-west locale (as some of the later mid-winter shows do), it’s going to be pretty attractive for a lot of people.
