Cycle World is reporting MV Agusta CEO Massimo Bordi has left the company and retired.
According to Cycle World, the move came after Bordi’s contract was not renewed; he was hired to help provide the company with guidance after Claudio Castiglioni engineered the purchase of the company back from Harley-Davidson. Claudio had planned for his son Giovanni to take over the company, but Bordi was supposed to make that easier.
It appears that Giovanni is now ready to take over the CEO’s position now, along with the job of company president, that he already holds.
