Dunlop has introduced a new made-in-America sportbike tire.
Called the Sportmax Q3, it follows the success of their Q2 tire. It incorporates their Carbon Fiber Technology (CFT), with a carbon fiber reinforcement element offering high tensile strength, low weight, high chemical resistance, high temperature tolerance and low thermal expansion.
The tires also feature Dunlop’s Intuitive Response Profile (IRP) design, which they claim will improve steering and handling, and MT Multi-Tread technology, which offers a tough, cool-running long-wearing compound in the center of the tread plus lateral-grip compounds on the sides.
The tires will be available at dealerships in June – just in time for summer track days.
