Canadian exhaust manufacturer Hindle will be this year’s title sponsor for CSBK’s Pro Sport Bike series.
“We’ve been directly involved in completion for decades, and have always focused on Canadian racers, either at home or on the world stage. Hindle is all about top line competition,” said company founder Lang Hindle.
Of course, Hindle knows all about the need for sponsorship in racing, as he was once a top roadracer in Canada himself, holding the Number 1 plate in 1981. Now, his family business builds aftermarket exhausts in Port Perry, Ontario.
The Pro Sport Bike class on the CSBK tour features 600 cc, four-cylinder, production-based machinery, although larger three-cylinder bikes from MV Agusta and Triumph are also approved for competition in Sport Bike. Jodi Christie of Peterborough, Ontario, has won the series for the last two years, on a Honda CBR600, using a Hindle exhaust.
The 2013 CSBK season starts June 9 at Shannonville Motorsport Park.
Set it up, I’ll bet there are a few CMG’ers who would pitch in …?
So, how much does it cost to sponsor a series? I’m thinking “Sponsored By Darkness” has a nice ring to it.
It really does, doesn’t it! 😀
