Looking for a new aftermarket exhaust for your Suzuki V-Strom 650, or maybe you’d like to hot-rod your new Honda CBR500? You’re in luck!
First, Leo Vince has announced they’re building LV One and GP Corsa exhaust systems for the CBR500. They’re both available as slip-ons or as full exhaust systems.
Both these systems come with a race pedigree – the LV One system is based on the system used in the European Junior Cup, where it’s the new spec exhaust.
The LV One exhaust is made from AISI304 stainless steel; there’s a removable EVOII insert to adjust the aggressiveness of the tone. The GP Corsa exhaust can be had in either carbon-fibre or aluminum; it’s based on exhausts Leo Vince builds for Moto 2 competition, and also has the removable EVOII insert.

Meanwhile, there’s also a new exhaust system for the 2012 V-Strom 650. Two Brothers has a new 2-1 system for the Suzuki adventure bike. You can pick from an aluminum, cabon-fibre or titanium exhaust can. For more details, check out their website here.
As with any exhaust manufacturer, Two Brothers claims added torque and horsepower with the new exhaust; of course, it also drops the bike’s weight.
The question that comes to my mind is are these pipes going to be stupidly loud? Two Brothers isn’t exactly known for being light on the dBs.
Does anyone know if either of these systems clear the OEM pannier rack – the TB system looks like it will be too long (as is the case with the Akrapovic). Also, I hear that the LV system reduces cornering clearance on the right side.
I think you’d likely have to contact the companies directly, as not too many folks have these yet, I would guess.
