Last year’s Horizons Unlimited meeting near Barrie was such a success that HUBB organizers are running another rally in Ontario this year.

This year’s Ontario rally will take place Thursday, Sept. 12 to Sunday, Sept. 15, at Camp Manitou, on Lake Manitouwabing, north of Parry Sound – a very scenic area with great riding, according to organizers.  If you register before March 31, you can get a $50 discount on the event. There are more details here; there’ll be the usual mix of instructional speeches and hands-on demonstrations, and you can hobnob with dozens of experienced adventure riders.

Not sure what Horizons Unlimited is all about? Founded by Canadians Grant and Susan Johnson, the organization and their website are aimed at getting people on the road to travel the world. Their website is full of useful information for travelers, and they also have a line of DVDs that can be pretty helpful resources. You can check out their website (www.horizonsunlimited.com) for more details.
