According to Confederate Motorcycles, former Piaggio and Ducati bigwig Pierre Terblanche is going to work with them on product development.
Previously, Terblanche was reckoned to be headed to Norton; however, that move never worked out in the end. Then, rumours started swirling that he was headed to work with Confederate. Now, it finally appears those rumours are true.
Terblanche was involved with many iconic Ducati projects – he helped develop the Hypermotard and Multistrada, as well as the 999 superbike.
Of course, with a move to Confederate, Terblanche’s creations are going to be even pricier than before. Their machines certainly aren’t aimed at the masses, but that’s OK – as long as Brad Pitt and friends keep signing checks, they likely won’t be out of business anytime soon.
you mean like the 999 or ss models he mutilated.
And maybe he can help them build something that isn’t downright fugly…?
