There are two motorcycle shows running this weekend – one in Ottawa and one in Edmonton.

The doors open at the Ottawa show on 10 a.m. today, and they’re open until 9 p.m.; the hours are the same tomorrow, and on Sunday, the show is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Admission is $12 for adults (two-day pass for $20, three-day pass for $30), seniors and kids aged 6-15 get in for $8 ($12 for two-day pass and $20 for three-day pass), and a family pass (two kids and two adults) is $32 ($60 for two days, $90 for three). The show is at the Ernst and Young Centre (formerly the CE Centre).

The Ottawa show will have, a fashion show, live music from bands including Monkeyjunk, Chris Witoski and Al Tambay, a tattoo alley, and we’re pretty sure there are going to be motorcycles there as well. You can check their information page for more … information.

The Edmonton show runs noon-9 p.m. at the Northlands Expo Centre today, then 10 a.m.-8 p.m Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $14 for adults (15 and over), $10 for seniors (65 and over), $10 for juniors (6-14) and children (under 6) get in free. A family pass (two adults and two juniors) is $36, and on SHE Rides night (basically, ladies’ night at the motorcycle show, after 5 p.m. on Friday), women get in for half price.

The Edmonton show will feature much of the same content as the Calgary show; there’ll be mad stunts (including the Empire stunt team), Jordan Szoke will do a trials demonstration, the Yamaha Riding Academy will give kids aged 6-12 a chance to ride around on minibikes, you can enter to win a Triumph Bonneville, there’ll be live music … and of course, the manufacturers will be showing off their bikes.
