Brett McCormick to return to WSBK this weekend

That's McCormick's bike; hopefully it'll be at the front of the pack this weekend.

After months of recovery, Brett McCormick is scheduled to finally make his return to to World Superbike racing this weekend.

Of course, McCormick’s been out of action since the spring, when he had a crash at the Assen round – a really serious crash, that mashed up his neck and hand. Thankfully, he seems to have recovered nicely.

McCormick was supposed to race at Silverstone, but ended up sitting out the weekend due to a weather conditions and his injuries; then, his team skipped the Moscow races, so he’s just getting a chance to race again now.

Hopefully all goes well; Liberty Racing’s press release for the weekend talks about the weeks of work they’ve spent re-organizing and preparing for this round. The last thing McCormick needs is any more of the drama around him that Liberty has become known for this season.
