Triumph has announced they’re adding another off-road oriented bike to their lineup, the Tiger Explorer XC.

The motorcycle will have the same 1215 cc motor that’s found in the Tiger Explorer, with 135bhp with 89ft.lbs of torque; however, the XC version will sport spoked wheels (with tubeless tire capability) front and rear (a 19-inch unit up front, and a 17-inch unit in back). That should make the bike much more off-road friendly.

Other features include hand guards, dual 55 watt fog lights, and an aluminum skid plate; Triumph already has a strong accessory lineup planned for the machine, with 54 factory farkles designed for the bike.

The machine will have cruise control, traction control, switchable ABS, and a shaft drive. Service intervals are 10,000 miles, and the bike comes with an unlimited mileage two-year warranty. If you’re interested in buying one, you’d better like green – it’s the only colour available.

The bike will make it’s international debut at the Intermot show at Cologne, Germany, on Oct. 2; test rides should be available next April.
