Welcome to Friday Fudge. If it’s weird, funny, or strange motorcycle news, or it just plain won’t fit anywhere else on the site – you’ll find it here.
You meet the nicest people on a Hero
Here’s yet another amusing motorcycle commercial from India. It’s a funny thing – they don’t have any dirty, smelly bikers with open pipes sticking it to The Man, yet somehow they still manage to sell a gazillion motorcycles a year, while our market is nowhere near that healthy in North America. The ad may be a bit goofy, but maybe our local marketeers need to pick up a few tips?
Roland Sands talks custom bikes
Roland Sands – who is he? A top-notch custom motorcycle builder and former top AMA roadracer, that’s who. And here he is, talking about his work, on YouTube.
Bourne to ride
Speaking of YouTube clips – here’s a clip from The Bourne Legacy, this weekend’s opening Hollywood blockbuster. That word rhymes with lackluster, but hopefully this flick won’t disappoint. Here’s a rather cartoonish clip from the movie, showing a motorcycle chase scene. We’d love to know how much work it took to film this action sequence.

DIY Dark Knight
Of course, the other big movie in theatres these days is the latest Batman piece, The Dark Knight Rises, complete with that ridiculously unfeasible motorcycle that’s starred in the other two installments in the series. Or is it that unfeasible? Check out this Vietnamese guy’s machine, inspired by the movies.

Old-fashioned outlaw tales
Back before television took over the nation’s living rooms, there was this invention called the radio that enthralled Canadians. That’s right, readers – once upon a time, radios were the prime source of entertainment in this country.
And here’s that era’s counterpart to Sons of Anarchy.
