You’ll likely remember the sorry story of a guy who rode his R1 up to 299 km/h on a busy B.C. highway, only to have his bike seized and his mother fined as the bike was registered to her and he refused to fess up.

Well, B.C. police managed to amass enough evidence to charge Randy George Scott, 25 of the offence on July 10th, which lead to turning himself in at a Kelowna B.C police station on Tuesday.

If Scott is convicted of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, he could be sentenced up to five years in jail.
