If you think you’d like to go riding somewhere warm next winter, maybe you should get in touch with BAMotorcycle Tours.
The Quebec-based adventure travel company is putting together plans for a three-week tour of southern Africa, starting March 25, 2013. The tour will cross countries in the southern regions of the continent, giving riders a chance to take in safaris, the savannah, deserts, and the unique flavour of the city of Cape Town.
Interested? Make sure your riding and wrenching skills are up to snuff; there won’t be a support truck or mechanic along for the ride, and riders will be following tour operator Anne-Marie Leclerc as she traces out her GPS track, not a local guide. BAMotorcycle Tours has already lined up accommodations for the route, though, as well as some activities along the way (care for a mid-winter safari?).
If you want more details, keep an eye on BAMotorcycle Tours’ website; they don’t have any information about the trip yet, but they’re sure to update it when more details become available. You can also try emailing Leclerc at info@bamotorcycletours.com.
