Brit mag Visordown is claiming to have a leaked list of Harley-Davidson’s 2013 lineup, supposedly showing which models are in next year, and which models are out.
Here’s a rundown of what they say the lineup looks like for now Remember that this is Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary, so there’s going to be a lot of anniversary models …
For 2013, the new CVO Road Glide Custom Anniversary Edition, CVO Road King, CVO Road King Anniversary Edition and CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide Anniversary Edition will be at the top of Harley-Davidson’s lineup; they’re all powered by their 1802cc V-twin engine; Milwaukee is supposedly dropping the CVO Softtail Convertible and CVO Street Glide from their model range.
Harley-Davidson will have a new touring bike – the Road King Anniversary Edition – as well as their Tri Glide Anniversary Edition. They’re also adding the Fat Boy Special Anniversary Edition, Heritage Softail Classic Anniversary Edition and Super Glide Custom Anniversary Edition to the Softtail and Dyna lineup.
The Sportster lineup gets the new Sportster 1200 Custom Anniversary Edition added to the Sportster range, but they’re supposedly dropping the Nightster.
Visordown doesn’t have any photos of these new bikes, and we haven’t seen them anywhere else, but they’re claiming the 110th anniversary bikes get black paint and special badging.
How can anyone call themselves an American and NOT be excited that new Harley-Davidson motorcycles are coming out?? I cannot wait!!
Dead Bob Wanker Glide Anniversary Classic anyone ?
Is it the 107th anniversary or the 109th Limited Edition anniversary? I’ve lost track.
“New” bikes? I think not. Just more of the same. H-D should get some sort of award for their efforts at recycling.
Once upon a time ..”Special Edition” Models would disappear almost immediately into someone’s collection. Now Special Editions are not really so special as they roll out every 5 years. Special and custom paint must still float the Motor Company’s boats cause that marketing scheme appears to work. If you can believe the figures, supposedly HD is rebounding financially.
OOOOOOh how exciting, what do you think. Maybe some new
handle grips or foot pegs(foot boards) in an even more prostate surgery
friendly position. Or just the same old
engine, same old chassis with some new paint colours. Yaaap same old same old.
