Friday the 13th continues to be good luck for Port Dover, Ontario.
Last weekend’s Friday the 13th event did pretty well for a mid-April Canadian motorcycle gathering, attracting close to 90,000 visitors according to the OPP. That’s a good number for any Canadian motorcycle event, but especially when you consider we’re often still looking at snow shoveling this time of year.
There weren’t any major disruptions at the event; thankfully Canadian bikers mostly seem to be made of different stuff than the riders at such legendary events as California’s Hollister riot or the River Run riot.
Port Dover’s next Friday the 13th celebration is on, unsurprisingly, 2012’s next Friday the 13th, in July.
