If you’re feeling lucky this weekend, head to Port Dover.
This weekend, the southern Ontario town is hosting the PD13 festival, and as always, they’re especially welcoming bikers on Friday the 13th.
Ride into town, and you’ll find the downtown core shut down for the weekend’s festivities. You can ride your bike in for the events, but cars are supposed to park at the edge of town, so drivers can be shuttled to the action on Chapman St., which will be closed between Main St. and St. George St.
There’ll be a food court at the festival, but we’re not quite sure what other events they’ve got planned this year; it’s still pretty early in the tourism season, so it might not be as busy as it will be later this year, at other Friday the 13 celebrations.
If you want to know more about the festival, including their history back to the beginning in 1981, check out their website here. Remember, this festival’s location in southern Ontario means you can check out the Cruise the Coast website or map to scope out some other activities or scenery, if you decided to ride down there.
