Two Canadian teams have been named for the International Six-Day Enduro, a men’s club team and a women’s trophy team.
This year, the ISDE runs in Saxony, Germany, on Sept. 24-29, with teams from 34 countries registered. The men’s club team from Canada is made up of Quebec’s Patrick Tremblay, B.C.’s Brand Winchell, and Alberta’s Mark Dzikowski. They’ve never met before – the first time they’ll see each other is in Germany – but they think they can put up a good showing for Canada.
The women’s trophy team doesn’t have quite that same challenge. Members Victoria Hett and Almeda Rive, of B.C. and Alberta, respectively, have raced the ISDE before together, in Morellia, Mexico in 2010. Their team is rounded out by Albertan newcomer Amber Giroux.
