The Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame has added three new members to its board of directors – two from Quebec, one from Nova Scotia.
The Hall of Fame, located in Toronto, is run by an independent board of volunteer directors located across the country. The three newcomers are Roger Pelletier and Tony Fletcher of Quebec, and Dave Munroe of Nova Scotia.
The three men come from different motorcycling backgrounds. Pelletier was a public official with both the provincial and federal government; he’s retired now, and works with the Fédération Québécoise des Motos Hors Route.
Fletcher is the former National Motorcycle Director for BMW Group Canada; he established the wholesale and retail dealer network for motorcycles in Canada. He’s also served on the Canada Safety Council’s board of directors, and has an interest in vintage motorcycles.
Munroe, a former insurance executive, also has an interest in vintage bikes. He was also a partner in a regional motorcycle dealership, and former chair of CAA National and CAA Maritimes.
