Canadian Superbike racer Jordan Szoke has signed with BMW’s team for the 2012 CSBK season.

Szoke, who spent most of last season finishing second to overall champion Brett McCormick but easily outpacing the rest of the competition, says he’s looking forward to getting his #1 plate back.

He’s a seven-time winner of the Canadian Superbike championship’ he last won the series in 2010, when he had a perfect season. McCormick, who won last year’s championship riding with BMW, left to race in Superstock competition with Effenbert Liberty for the 2012 season.

As in the past, Szoke will also be managing his Waznie Racing team this season, along with his track work. He says he’s excited to represent BMW, and that their race support reminds him of Kawasaki’srace programs of the ’90s – a high compliment, considering how much time Szoke has spent with Team Green.
