The Canadian Vintage Road Racing Association (VRRA) has scheduled four races for the 2012 season, at tracks in Ontario and Quebec.

The VRRA’s 32nd season kicks off June 1-3 at Shannonville’s Quinte TT. It returns to Shannonville on July 14-15 for a second round at the track, featuring a different track configuration. Round Three takes place at the Mosport Vintage Festival, Aug. 17-18, and 19 at the recently renamed Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Round Four goes down at St-Eustache at the Grand Prix de Quebec, on Sept. 8-9.

Bikes in the VRRA events range from machines built in the 1940s, to 1980s-era bikes. Racers range in age from their teens to their 70s. The races are divided into age and displacement classes, and there will also be sidecar races at all four events.

The VRRA is Canada’s only roadracing association devoted solely to vintage racing, and is the oldest such organization in North America.
