There was a widely-discounted rumour back in December that seven-time Canadian Superbike champ Jordan Szoke was talking to KTM about a ride in the Canadian series for 2012.
It’s just been announced that the Austrian company – which ran a limited superbike schedule in the U.S. series in 2011 with the Mitch Hansen HMC Racing team and then decided to withdraw – has changed its mind and will return in 2012.
Does that mean Jordan might after all be riding an Austrian bike this year in Canada? No word on whether KTM has paid the CSBK series any homologation money yet, but it’s an interesting thought.
