If you want to buy BMW’s new G650 Sertão in Canada this spring, you’re in luck. If you want to buy one of their new maxi-scooters, not so much.
BMW issued a press release, saying they will bring the new G650 Sertão to Canada next year, with an MSRP of $9,750. We first mentioned this machine back in October; it’s pretty similar to the old F650 Dakar. It’s available in a white and blue paint scheme.
Also in BMW’s press release, they mention their C600 Sport and C650GT maxi-scooters (we told you about these machines last month, when they were introduced at Milan). While they might not grab your attention the same way a R1200GS might, BMW seems pretty excited about these scoots. Both are powered by a water-cooled 647cc parallel twin, putting out about 60 hp through a CVT transmission.
Neither will be available at dealers until next fall, and pricing should come in the spring. When they show up, the C600 Sport should be available in blue, silver, and black, and the C650 GT should be available in black, bronze, and red.
